Color Cognition brings our brand enthusiasts a very diverse and unique set of products - sourced from all over the world. We’re not Amazon, Walmart, Macy’s etc. We don’t want to be. If you’re looking to get a product in 2 days, you’ve come to the wrong place. If you’re looking for a product that your friends and strangers ask “Where did you get that amazing _____?” Then you’re in the right place. Enjoy shopping!

In order for us to to bring you these quality products at a great price with FREE shipping, our shipping and return policies are by individual supplier only. On every product page you'll find a "Lead Time" written in days. This is how long on average it takes before a product is shipped to you. After the "Lead Time" you can expect normal ground service delivery. Unfortunately, we are not able to do expedited shipping.  

returns, refunds & exchange policy

We strive for excellence in customer service. We want you to be happy with your purchase and to make refunds or exchanges as easy as possible. Because we offer selections from independent brands, our return/exchange policy is sometimes restricted by that of each independent supplier/vendor. We cannot accept returns and exchanges if the supplier does not or if the return is outside the time frame that they specify to us. 

If you are interested in return policies please read below and explore our FAQ section. We do our best to describe the independent suppliers and brands we partner with. We also explain the refund policies for each supplier at the end of this section. When you select an item for purchase, check to see which supplier is offering that item, then what their specific return policy is. 

Our store-wide policy on all brands we offer is the following:
Except for custom orders, we can refund or exchange purchases for 14 days from your purchase ship date (excluding ‘on-demand’ brands). 
If 14 days have gone by since your purchase ship date, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.  
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If your refund is approved, then it will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. The number of days will be determined by your credit card provider.

Late or missing refunds 
If you haven’t received a refund yet:
First, check your bank account. 
Then contact your credit card company. It may take some time before your refund is officially posted. That time frame is determined by the credit card company.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time by the bank as well before a refund is posted.

Sale items 
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Please double-check you’re ordering the correct size before placing your order.
Exchange policies vary per supplier and are processed on a per supplier basis. 
On-demand/custom products cannot be exchanged. 
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.

Shipping Your Return

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the shipping cost of returning the item to its supplier will be deducted from your refund.

The time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you will vary depending on the location the item is being shipped to.

You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. Since we are not a mail or package delivery service, we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
